1.名词性从句
第一句：我们目前缺乏的是资金和人力。
判断：主语从句
英文翻译：What we lack at the moment are money and manpower.
第二句：我们的意见是这个实验应该取消。
判断：表语从句
英文翻译：My idea is that this experiment should be called off.
第三句：我们可以得出结论：空气具有重量。
判断：同位语从句
英文翻译：We can draw the conclusion that air has weight.
第四句：大家都知道这一事实，能量既不能消灭也不能创生。
判断：同位语从句

2.形容词性从句（定语从句）
第一句：鲁迅工作过的那座房子现在是一个博物馆。
英文翻译：The house where Lu Xun worked is a museum now.
第二句：评判中餐烹调的优劣可依据中餐的三大要素，即“色、香（aroma）、味”。
英文翻译一：The three essential factors（key elements），by which Chinese cooking is judged are known as“color，aroma and taste.”
英文翻译二：The three essential factors（key elements），which are used to judge Chinese cooking are known as“color，aroma and taste.”
编写定语从句的步骤
① 确定先行词
所谓的先行词即用从句修饰的那一个词
② 选择关系词
关系代词：that、which、who、whom、whose等
关系副词：when、where、why、how等
3. 副词性从句（状语从句）
状语从句由不同的从属连词或从属连词词组引出，可表示时间、原因、条件、让步、地点、方式、比较、目的和结果等意义。
第一句：直到再三思考了这个问题，他才发言。
英文翻译：He didn’t speak until he thought about this problem over and over.
第二句：这个问题太难了，学生们做不出来。
英文翻译：This problem was so difficult that the students were unable to solve it.
第三句：如果经济富国想要取得经济的快速增长，他们必须创造新技术，或者采用更好的管理方式。
英文翻译：If rich economies want rapid economic growth，they have to invent new technology or adopt better management method.
第四句：哪儿有垃圾，哪儿就有苍蝇。
英文翻译：Where there is rubbish，there are flies.

where引导定语从句和状语从句
1.where引导定语从句
where是关系副词，在从句中作地点状语，其前面有表示地点的先行词，where引导的从句修饰先行词，如：
The house where Lu Xun worked is a museum now.
2.where引导状语从句
where是从属连词，where引导的从句修饰主句的谓语动词，where前面没有表示地点的先行词，如：
Wuhan lies where the Changjiang River and the Han Jiang River meet.
3.where引导地点状语从句兼有抽象条件含义，可放在主句的前面，而where引导的定语从句则不能。如：
Where there is a will，there is a way.
同位语从句和定语从句
1.定语从句的先行词是名词或代词
2.同位语从句的先行词只能是名词，且仅限于idea、plan、fact、theory、promise、hope、news、doubt、truth、information、suggestion、thought、belief、conclusion等少数名词。
